Split

The heart of the Dalmation Coast, unique setting and a good mixture of new and old

After island hopping for 2 weeks we had reached the mainland of Split, which is the second largest city in Croatia and a UN World Heritage Site. Split is a busy port and is a busy and exciting old town to explore. After walking around the old town exploring we turned in for an early night and the early the next morning we travelled by bus to The Plitvice Lakes National Park or click to return home
